Arnold "Sonny" Walker

Arnold "Sonny" Walker, 83, of Lincoln, was born on December 23, 1931 in Lincoln, NE to Robert and Callie (Brown) Walker. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Monarch.
Arnold was a 1950 graduate of Lincoln High School. He was an avid basketball player and loved the game of pool.

He worked for Cushman (Outboard Marine Corporation) for thirty-nine years retiring in 1991. He loved like and always enjoyed family gatherings. He also loved the Lord and enjoyed attending his church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Arnold was a kind hearted, loving, and giving man.
In April 1956 he married the love of his life Elizabeth "Betty" Scott. From this union they welcomed a son Gary.

Arnold leaves to cherish fond memories a son; Gary (Kendra), sister; Ladora Brown both of Lincoln, grandchildren; Jolinda, Max, and Kady, Six step-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Walker, sister; Beverly Jean Ivory.
