Beverly Pearl Buhmann

Beverly Pearly Buhmann, 87, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015. Beverly was born June 22, 1927 to Charles and Pearl (Sims) Van Tassel at Holabird, SD. She was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont, and current member of Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

She attended school at Altamont and Clear Lake, S.D. She married Robert Buhmann September 27, 1946 at Plankintan, S.D. They farmed near Mt. Vernon, S.D. and later moving to Tripp, S.D. While in Tripp, S.D. she was the lunch room supervisor for 22 years. They moved to Fremont, NE in 1998. Her husband passed away December 23, 2001.
She is survived by 3 daughters and their husbands; Loren (Sharon Chenoweth, Elkins, W.V., Robin (Richard) Lagge of Lincoln, NE, Betty Rae (James) Rasmussen, Wichita Falls, TX; 11 grandchildren; 16 and counting great-grandchildren; brother, G.K. (Sally) Van Tassel, Lawrence, KS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
