With a hearty chuckle and a heart even larger, Bob Payne Jr., our charismatic, loving, witty and resilient hero, has taken his final ride on the highway of life. Born in Lincoln, NE on April 22, 1966, Bob spent his life embracing the wind in his hair, whether on the back of a motocross bike or his beloved Harley. His journey ended on April 16, 2024, but the stories of his life, his joy, and his unyielding resilience continue to echo in the hearts of everyone he met.

Bob was a man who embraced life with all his might. His love for motocross was only rivaled by his love for his family. Whether it was a day out on the lake or a night at home in Seward, Nebraska, he always knew how to make every moment memorable. As Mark Twain once said, "The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation," and Bob indeed turned his passions into a lifestyle.

Bob's spirited stories and infectious laughter will be forever cherished by his daughters, Julia Hopkins and Megan Smelker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobbie Payne Sr. and Wilma Payne. As we remember Bob, let us not dwell on the loss, but celebrate the man who embodied the spirit of resilience and love.
