Dennis Moore

Dennis Edward Moore, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska with his beloved daughter by his side. Born December 17, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of George and Helen (Klein) Moore. Dennis was a generous soul, always sharing his time, resources, and heart with those around him.

Dennis moved with his family to Prescott, Arizona in 1960, and graduated from Prescott High School with the class of 1965. He then joined the U.S. Navy in 1965 and served in the Vietnam War.

Dennis owned and operated Moore Vending, a testament to his dedication and hard work, taking pride in a job well done while exemplifying the essence of a true entrepreneur.

Throughout his life, Dennis found joy in the simple things. He loved riding his motorcycle and had a passion for cars. He was a familiar face at the Indian Hills Church, where his faith and fellowship with the congregation brought him peace. Dennis was also known for his love of nature, often spending countless afternoons feeding the birds and squirrels.

Dennis was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms, without regrets. His philosophy was one of authenticity and honesty, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Krislin Garrison; grandchildren, Alanah Garrison and Tristan Garrison; siblings, David (Jody) Moore, Darryl (Cindy) Moore, Doug (Bonnie) Moore, Donna (Anthony) Pacini, and Dale Moore; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Moore and sister-in-law, Jennifer Moore.

Memorial service will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Prescott National Cemetery, 500 HIGHWAY 89 N., PRESCOTT, AZ.

Following the memorial service family will be having lunch at The Barley Hound 234 S Cortez Street Prescott, AZ 86303. All attending the service are welcome to join.
