Don L. Chambers, 57, of Lincoln, NE went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his home.\n\nDon was born February 14, 1959 in Crete, NE the son of Tom and Doris (Chalupa) Chambers. He married Bonnie Beaman on September 15, 1989 in Lincoln, NE. Don had a great sense of humor and a big heart. He would regularly be found working in his garage fixing things for people or drafting up a new project that he had dreamt up. Whether he was changing your oil, sharpening your lawnmower blades, riding his Harley, or tearing apart an engine, he was always helping others. Don was never without a joke to tell and loved making people laugh.\n\nDon is survived by his wife of 27 years Bonnie; son, Jason (Erin) Chambers all of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Jordyn Chambers of Calera, AL; three grandchildren Jayden, Addyson, and Clayton; best friend and brother in life, Al (Cindy) Miller of Gresham, NE; sister-in-law, Cheri (Kenny) Wismont of Omaha, NE; brother, Tom (Glenda) Chambers of Norfolk, NE; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog Bella.\n\nA celebration of life service will be held at Capitol City Christian Church, 7800 Holdrege St. Lincoln, NE on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:30am.\n\nHe will continue to be celebrated, remembered, and loved by many family members and friends.
