Edgar F. 'Butch' Stinson

Lincoln resident Edgar F. 'Butch' Stinson, 62, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Southlake Village in Lincoln, NE.
Celebration of life will be 1:00pm Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. in Lincoln, NE.
Memorials may be directed to his family for a later designation.

Edgar F. 'Butch' Stinson was born March 2, 1954 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Edgar Rice Stinson and Verna Mae (Broers) Strawser. Butch graduated from Lincoln High School before entering the military. He worked for Kehm Construction. Butch liked to fish and enjoy a cold beer, Bush Light was his drink of choice.
Butch is survived by his children, Nickolus Stinson, Chanda (Wayne) Mami, and Gage Stinson all of Lincoln, NE; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild; former spouse and friend, Margaret Stinson of Lincoln, NE; siblings, Dan Stinson, Michael (Jodi) Stinson, Sue (Brian Hammer) Pickinpaugh, Merna Clouse all of Lincoln, NE, Terry (Teresa) Stinson of Milford, NE, Martin Strawser, and Dusty (James and Mike) Strawser all of Lincoln, NE; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
