Eva Marie Cronin (Bennett), 72, of Lincoln NE, peacefully passed away on 26 July 2022. She was born on May 10, 1950 in Evansville Indiana to Curtis and Alvada (Mosby) Bennett. Eva was widowed by her husband, Vernon Cronin, who went in to rest November 12, 1984.\n\nEva was a bright light with a smile that warmed the room. Even on the coldest of days or saddest of times, she could find enjoyment in the simplest of things. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, movies, art and needlepoint work. Her needlepoint earned her several blue ribbons and certificates in local fairs and craft shows.\n\nShe was dedicated to her Church and loved her biblical family.\n\nIn a world where family can be strangers and strangers become family, relative titles are not important. Eva was survived and loved by a circle of people who each brought joy to her life. Those names include, but are not limited to Jen Marshall, Dillon Marshall, Kathy Hassenplug, JoAnn Ninneman, Katie Cronin, Kelly Cronin, Jeff Cronin, Buzz and Jo Ann Murphy and some of the wonderful staff and enrichment visitors at the now called Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster.\n\nA Celebration of Life memorial will be held at the Lincoln Family Funeral Care facility, Sunday Aug 7th from 12-2, in an open house like setting.\n\nPlease wear bright & cheerful attire as that is what Eva would want. Her celebration should reflect her and she was a bright and cheerful soul. Her favorite colors were blue, pink and purple and her favorite flower was Lilly of the Valley.
