On May 27th, 2022, Gary Luedtke, loving grandfather, father, and husband, passed away at the age of 66 in Lincoln, Nebraska.\n\nGary was born on June 14th, 1955, in Lincoln, NE to Eloise and Laverne Luedtke. He worked for BNSF Railway, retiring after more than 40 years as an IBEW Union Electrician where he served as an elected official.\n\nGary loved, family, food, fishing, and Husker football. Gary was an excellent host and grill master at 4th of July parties and cooking for every family occasion. Gary poured himself out for those he loved. He was fun, generous, loving, wise, and sometimes a prankster.\n\nGary was preceded in death by his father, Laverne, and his mother, Eloise. He is survived by his wife Juliet, children Tasha, Jason, and Adam (Joselyn) Luedtke, grandchildren Brielle and Raelee, brother Doug (Cheryl Luedtke, his beloved puppies Benji, Bella, Ziggy (Bowie), Stella, and many nieces and nephews.\n\nA celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022, at Milkweed Event Space, 6220 Havelock Ave., Suite 1, 5:00-7:00PM. Formal services start 5:30.
