Gregory Alan Gustafson, 65, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at his home. Born to Gunnar and Nita (Berggren) Gustafson on January 18, 1950 in Minden, Nebraska. He resided in Axtell, NE the first 10 years of his life. His family then moved to Holdreeg, NE where he graduated from high school in 1968. He enjoyed playing football and basketball during these years. He next attended Kearney State College and graduated in 1972 with a degree in business administration. While attending Kearney State he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. \n\nUpon graduation from college he moved to Omaha, where he found a strong interest in real estate and sold real estate for over two years while taking real estate classes at UNO. In 1975 he attended and graduated finance courses at UNL in Lincoln where he reseded the rest of this life. In 1976 Greg began working for savings bank and later in private practices appraising real estate. He remained appraising most of his life either in production or managemtn and holding several positions locally, regionally, and nationally with the Appraisal Institute.\n\nGreg was blessed to have two children; Lea Nicole, and Gregory Ryan, two grandchildren; Kaylen Eve, and Wesley Rivers, all of Lincoln. They brought much joy, enjoyment, and pride during his life.
