Hollis L. Reckling, 89 of Lincoln, NE, passed away July 16, 2016. Born on the farm at Comstock, NE, February 11, 1927 to William and Ella Gladys (Carnine) Reckling. Graduated Comstock High School in 1945. Member U.S. Army 1945-1947. Married Kathaline Hardy, August 30, 1954. Farmer in Comstock, NE and Osceola, NE & Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Lincoln, NE. Hollis is survived by his wife Kathaline; son, Bruce Reckling; daughters, Karen (Don) Reger and Carol (Mark) Henrich; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Twila Lenstrom and Elaine Hyde; along with many nieces, nephews, and those special friends at Lincoln Coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin; and sister-in-law, Darlene Reckling.
