Ivan Biggs

Ivan L. Biggs, 84, died October 9, 2022, in Norfolk, NE. Born March 14, 1938, in Lincoln, NE, the son of Altia and Mabel (Heiderman) Biggs. He married Diann Gondringer on May 26, 1965. He served in the U.S. Navy on USS Kearsarge. Ivan was a fire fighter with the Lincoln Fire Department retiring in 1994.

Ivan is survived by his Children, Ryan (Sheri) Biggs, Jamie Biggs, April Ezell, and Tracy Graham; grandchildren, Samantha (Jay) Barritt, Sarah (Justin) Starman, Shane Huey, Corey (Melissa) Huey, Dillon (Deidre) Huey, Austin (Ashley) Wheetley; great-grandchildren, Adrian Barritt, Alexis Barritt, Ava Barritt, Veronica Starman, Mason Starman, Hunter Huey, and Rhett Huey; and sister, Irene (Bill) Leech.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sisters; five brothers; and son-in-law, Earl Ezell.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 14, 2022, with visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Lincoln Family Funeral Care, 5849 Fremont St. Memorial may be given to his family for a charitable donation to be made in Ivan's memory at a later date.
