James W. "Jimmy" Dunn

James W. "Jimmy" Dunn, 61, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday November 5, 2024, at Bryan Medical Center West. He was born on November 5, 1963, in Phoenix, Arizona, son of Norman and Joanne (Kenney) Dunn.

Jimmy spent his formative years in San Jose, California, where he graduated with the class of 1981 from San Jose High School. Jimmy married Heather L. Mill on July 28, 1992.

His journey then led him to Lincoln, Nebraska, where he found a fulfilling career as a carpenter with Kabredlos. A devoted husband and a loyal friend, what mattered most to Jimmy was his family. He was a man who cared deeply about those he loved and often expressed this through his actions rather than words. Jimmy was an avid domino player and a passionate NASCAR fan. He also loved playing cards once a month with his other family whom he loved much and he loved driving around in his Corvette.

Jimmy's loss is deeply felt by his beloved wife, Heather Dunn; sons, David (Andrea) Mill, Corey Myers, and Sean Myers; grandchildren, Kalina, Serafina, and Damien; great-grandson, Colton Bond; along with sister, Chrisy Giannosa; and brothers, David (Lori) Dunn, Tony Giannosa, and Angelo Giannosa.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
