Janelle Marie (Ray) Duntz Obituary (1953 - 2025)

Janelle and her identical twin sister Janette were born in South Pasadena, CA to Betty Jane (Porterfield) Ray and Calvin Lee Ray on June 25,1953. Janelle was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 23, 2025. She is survived by her husband Paul N Duntz, Stephanie Duntz of Lincoln, NE, Devin & Shannon (Kovaschetz) Duntz of Clatonia, NE. Sisters - Claudia & Richard Horton of Seward, NE, Janette & Rod Yencensky of Rapid City, SD, Sisters in law - Vicki (Lee) Ray of Thedford, NE, Gail (Pat) Ray of Fountain, CO, Chris (Mark) Wittstruck of Crete, NE, Sheri (Jerry) LaFollette of Syracuse, NE, Debbie (Chuck) Rousey of Muskogee, OK, Belinda Menges of Ellinwood, KS. Brothers in law - Rick (Valerie) Duntz of Lincoln, NE, Mike Duntz of Ulysses, TX, Mark (Heather) Duntz of Independence, KS, Rick (Brenda) Ketch of Great Bend, KS; 6 grandchildren, Alyssa Armstrong, Trevin Motton-Duntz, Ezekiel Duntz, Ashlie Deboer-Duntz, Miranda Duntz, and Izabella Kovaschetz-Duntz; 8 great-grandchildren, Onile Vodicka, Emmet Armstrong, MaevieAnn Duntz, Easton Armstrong, Kaiser Duntz, Kaligo Duntz, Nova Inthavong, Raynslie Davis. Janelle was baptized and confirmed in 1969 at Unadilla, NE and later as an adult baptized in Lyons, KS in 1978. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1972. She was married to Paul N Duntz on August 31, 1973 in Lincoln, NE. They were blessed with 2 children, Stephanie and Devin Duntz. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved, treasured and enjoyed anytime spent with her family and friends, making memories and always taking pictures. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Clatonia Community Center located at 105 SW 100th Rd, Clatonia, NE 68328 on August 9th, 2025 from 1pm to 5pm.
