Jay Lynn Armstrong, 56, of Lincoln, NE was born January 21, 1966 to Bonnie and Raymond Armstrong in Henderson, Nevada. Jay passed on March 19, 2022 at his home with his family and precious friend Lorrie Banister by his side after a 9 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Jay fought a hard fight and never gave up.\n\nJay was a master welder and was the welder/fabricator for Gana Trucking and Excavating at the time of his diagnosis. This was by far Jay's favorite job. He cherished his time there and the friendships that were formed were priceless to him. When he wasn't working, he was polishing his Warlock for another car show or hopping on his motorcycle for wind time. Jay truly loved life.\n\nJay is survived by his wife; Donna Jo Armstrong, daughter; Brittney Kwiatkowski, Stepchildren; Trevor Corey and Jessica Eggert. Grandchildren; Katelyn and Cole Novak, Kade and Stella Eggert, Camden, Madison, and Vienna Corey, and his 3 beloved dogs; Bear, Sandy, and Guido.\n\nHe is preceded in death by his parents; Raymond and Bonnie Armstrong, brother; Terry, and his step-dad; Ivan Heimann.\n\nMemorials to the family for future designation.\n\nThere will be a celebration of life Monday, March 28, 2022 from 4PM to 6PM at Lincoln Family Funeral Care 5849 Fremont Street, Lincoln, NE 68507. There will also be a procession following the celebration lead by dear friends Willy & Misty Ackerman and Brothers Not Forgotten, bringing Jay home on his Shovelhead for his final ride.
