Jeffrey Scott Thomas, 50, of Lincoln, passed away September 19, 2020. Beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend, Jeffrey loved being with family and friends. He had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Born August 10, 1970, in Fort Dodge, Iowa., Jeff was raised by his parents Ernest (Deb) Thomas and Peggy (John) Burvainis in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Stacey (Davis-Berge), and children Breanna Thomas and Tyler Thomas. Stepchildren Kaden Berge and Hunter Berge. Sisters Stacey (Tim) Breon, Shana Gentile, Sara (Chris) Conley, and April (Thomas) Ruiz. Birth parents Pat (Janene) Gentile. Aunt & Uncles Dick (Dorothy) Thomas, Dorthy Cobb, and Warren (Connie) Lyon, and several more. and Grandmother Evelyn Schuster and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He attended Lincoln Northeast High School and then Southeast Community College. Over the years, Jeffrey had an extensive career background, from Goodyear Tire Co. to plumbing, and owned/operated a fire safety equipment business. He enjoyed working with his hands in dozens of ways, especially cars.\n\nBreanna, Tyler, and their friends would love coming to the house, Jeff enjoyed entertaining them with his "Dad" jokes. Jeff was Tyler's biggest fan when it came to bike racing, hunting together, and hockey. Jeff traveled with both Tyler and stepson Hunter when they played hockey and watched his stepson Kaden at his wrestling meets. Jeff loved fishing with the family. Jeff will live on in the hearts of his wife and children and never be forgotten.\n\nA Memorial service will be held, October 5, 10:30 A.M. at First Street Bible Church, 100 W F St, Lincoln, NE 68508. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
