Karen Paulson, 77, passed away on January 27, 2022 following a heroic battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on March 12, 1944 in Paris, TX to A. George & Gleanys Alexander. She grew up in Deshler, NE, attended school in Hebron, and moved to Lincoln shortly after graduation.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Ted; children Michelle (Matt) Mueller, Michael (Fawn) Brickner, and Jaime (Kent) Hemmerling; grandchildren Synder (Dillon) Cadwallader, Oliver (Kourtney) Mueller, Chloe Mueller, Anthony Brickner, Avery, Grace, Aspen & Isaac Hemmerling; great grandson Kaden Cadwallader; and brother Gary (Nancy) Alexander.\n\nShe was an avid quilter and crafter. She loved to create things that brought joy to others and could most often be found at a sewing machine or with a needle in her hand. Her family and many throughout the community will be blessed by her creations for many years to come.\n\nShe was always the first to volunteer when someone needed help, or something needed to be baked or sewn, and she never asked for anything in return. She was a selfless giver and would choose to go without so others could have more. She will be greatly missed.
