Kathleen Morgan

Kathleen (Kathy) Morgan, a loving, loyal, compassionate, and generous soul, passed away on June 25, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on March 5, 1953, in Wahoo, NE, Kathy spent her life in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she devoted herself to her family, and friends. A devoted family person, Kathy enjoyed gardening, camping, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. Her beloved dog Maddy held a special place in her heart, as did the countless lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.

Kathy is survived by her spouse, Robert; her children, Jeremy Schwartz, Angela (Stan) Spurgeon, Stacey Kirk, Donna Morgan, Karri Morgan, and Michael Morgan (Tracy). Her grandchildren; Connor Suhr, Jamison Schwartz-Gamboa, Skylar Frisbie, Zachary Robison, Dustin Osland, Evan Kirk, Tyler Kirk, Dylan Kirk, Colton Tichota, and Taylor Morgan. Siblings, Marilyn (Bob) Sabatka, Nancy Kellner, Betty Tomsicek (Rodney Bradyway), Susie McClain, Mary Ann Jacobs. In-laws; Heather (Charlie) Kozisek, David “Rodger” (Mary Jane) Morgan, and Luis Fuentes.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Jean Keller, sister Patricia Fuentes, son-in-law, Keith Kirk and niece, Jennifer Kellner.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 11:00 am CDT at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. Casual dress is requested by the family.

Memorials may be given to the Capital Humane Society.
