Kimberly Marie Castillo\n\nDecember 2, 1965 - November 15, 2021\n\nKimberly "Kim" Castillo, 55, of Lincoln, passed away November 15, 2021. Born December 2, 2021 in Gary, Indiana to Dallas & Constance Himo.\n\nKim was preceded in death by: Her father Dallas Himo, and her mother Constance Himo (Bavdek).\n\nKim was survived by: Her son Darrin & wife Rachel; Tenelle & family. Austin & his wife, Amanda. Her son, Zachary; Grandsons, Robert, Ayden, Darrin JR, and Maverick and Granddaughter, Elliana. Sisters Gwendylyn, Sonja, and Becky. Brother, Mark. As well as nieces and nephews.\n\nKimberly cared deeply about those whom she loved. So much so that everyone around her knew she always was there for them. At the same time, she was a strong, strong woman. Who never backed down from woman nor man, and went headstrong into any problems she was faced with. She cherished her children the most, held them in such high regard, and no matter what, loved them for who they were inside and out. Her time in this world was a short but fulfilling trial of life flourishing with the abundance of adventure or overcoming the next obstacles. Doing so how she did it best, with strength and perseverance. She was a God fearing woman, destined to do right by him by any means. She is now up in her mansion of gold he built just for her, shinning down upon us all.
