Kirk Kilgore Obituary (1961 - 2021)

Kirk A. Kilgore of Lincoln, NE left us surrounded by his family. He was a devoted and caring husband, father, and new grandfather. Kirk always had a witty comeback and loved getting a laugh out of anyone he would meet. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his personal and professional integrity, and his generous and caring personality. Kirk is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandy; sons, Quin (Jaime) Kilgore and Cole (Kacie) Kilgore; granddaughter, Jorie Kilgore; parents, Don and Mary Beth Kilgore; sisters, Kim (Jim) Coker, Shelley (Doug) Konopasek, Beth (Mike) Nozicka; brother-in-law, Jerry Leonhardt; sister-in-law, Kendra (Jeff) Driggs; mother-in-law, Bonnie Leonhardt; and loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces, nephews and great-grand niece. Memorial Mass will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 7900 Trendwood Dr., with Fr. Michael McCabe officiating. Cremation, no visitation. Memorials may be directed to Tabitha Foundation, Tabitha Hospice Program.
