Leon Edmond Noble

Leon Edmond Noble, 75, passed Friday, June 19, 2015 at his home in Lincoln, NE. Born August 20, 1939 in Genoa, NE to Charles & Ruth Noble. Survived by his wife Denice; daughters Cindy Hess, Jennifer Noble & Melissa Hale; son Glenn Noble DDS; sister Dorothy Conger; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; & many nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by daughter Carrie Noble, granddaughter Aubrianna Hennecke, his parents, sisters Helen Huebner & Charlotte Oakley, & brothers Victor, Kenneth & Robert Noble.

Leon graduated from Genoa HS, attended UNL, & worked for Immigration Homeland Security. A Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy & the Army National Guard Band. A gifted pianist & trombone player, he performed with bands including: The Shrine Dixieland Band, The Eddie Garner Band, The Noblemen Trio, Don Texel Combo, & Lee-Shari Ensemble. Active member of the Bennet American Legion.
