Lucas Benjamin Friendt

Lucas Benjamin Friendt, 39, of Lincoln, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 24, 2017 after battling cancer for almost two years. Lucas was born December 15, 1977 to Douglas and Audrey (Pester) Friendt in Lincoln, Nebraska. Graduated from Lincoln High in 1996 and was employed by Voss Lighting for over 18 years. Lucas married Stacy (Churchill) on April 23, 1999 and were blessed with three children, Callie, Alyssa, and Reed. Lucas enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a generous, thoughtful, and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. Most important to him was proclaiming the faithfulness of God and the gift of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

Lucas is survived by his wife Stacy and his three children Callie, Alyssa, and Reed; parents, Douglas and Audrey Friendt; brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas (DeAnn) Friendt, nephew, Caleb, nieces, Kaylee and Madison, all of Lincoln. Grandparent, Olive Friendt of Hickman, father (mother-in-law) Stan (Jennifer) Harn of Lincoln, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many other friends and family.
