Lucy Mae (Archer) Thorson, 84, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday (12/10) at The Monarch. She was born to Henry and Jessie (Newell) Archer on February 5, 1931 in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from Central High School in Sioux City with the class of 1949 and went into marriage and family life, as well as a variety of jobs. Lucy enjoyed needlecrafts, Husker sports and Royals baseball (especially Alex Gordon).\n\nLucy is survived by her children, Sue Lehman (Clearwater, MN); David Lehman (Chadron, NE); Carol (Don) Mahoney (Norfolk, NE), Lisa (Ed) Woeppel (Firth, NE), Mary (Greg) Graber, Pam (Dan) Goedeken (Columbus, NE); and, Neil (Danica) Thorson, Jr (Munising, MI); 18 grandchildren (10 great-grandchildren), Ben, Erika (Ella), Sarah (Samantha, Cynthia); Kirsten and Matt (Jayden, Austen, Kaitlyn), Steffan; Kris and Al (Emma, Jake), Kyle and Kerry (Elise); Grace, Emilia, Melissa, Gus; Alex, Annie; Andrea; Spencer and Alicia (McKenna), Tristen, Breeze, and Caitlyn.\n\nShe was known to be preceded in death by her husband, Neil E. Thorson, Sr (9/21/14); her parents, brothers Ernest and Bobby; sisters Marlys and Laura; daughter-in-law, Julie.\n\nLucy's family will observe a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
