Patricia K. Hood

Patricia K. Hood, 72, passed away, Wednesday June 8, 2016 at St.
Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Patricia K. Hood was born April 2, 1944, in Seymour, Missouri, the
daughter of Romaine and Edna Irene "Annie" (Cantrell) Cummins. She
was raised by her devoted grandparents William and Lucy (Bagby)
Cantrell. Patricia married Francis Hood on October 3, 1966 in Peoria,
Illinois. She moved with her family to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1987.
Patricia was a homemaker, taking care of her children and
grandchildren. She was active in the Lancaster county Relay for Life
and other cancer related fundraisers. Patricia enjoyed shopping,
puzzles and adding to her vast array of collectables.

Patricia is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Francis; six
children, Frances Hood of Fremont, NE, Michael Hood, Kimberly (Mark)
Warren, Johnny (Jennifer) Hood, Donny Hood, and Jeffery Hood all of
Lincoln, NE; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren;
two sisters, Glenda Cantrell, and Barbara Dalton; and brother, Keith Mason.

She was preceded in death and is now guided by her grandparents;
parents; and son, Patrick Paul Hood.

Graveside services are 1:00pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Yankee Hill
Cemetery in Lincoln, NE. Lincoln Family Funeral Care are handling
arrangements.
