Peggy Tyson\n\nApril 7, 1969 - October 13, 2021\n\nPeggy Tyson, 52, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at her home in Lincoln, Nebraska.\n\nFuneral service is at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Christ Place Church, 1111 Old Cheney Road, with Pastor Nathan Kroll officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, October 18, 2021, at Lincoln Family Funeral Care, 5849 Fremont Street.\n\nMemorials may be directed to her family for a later designation.\n\nPeggy was born April 7, 1969, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Joseph and Peggy Joyce (Culpepper) Diaz. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1987. Peggy graduated from Lincoln School of Commerce in 1999 with a degree in Paralegal Studies. She worked the past six years at Nelnet in Lincoln, Nebraska. Peggy cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, attending their cheer events and soccer games, and was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings.\n\nPeggy is survived by her children, Brittany (Christopher) Phelps, Katlyn Burianek, Jesse (Riley) Burianek, and Tashia Tyson (Blake Klapperich); grandchildren, Jaiden, Joesy, Kyler, Copeland, Conrad, and one on the way, Holland; and siblings, Ed (Mary) Kieff, Lisa (Rex) King, Donald (Diana) Diaz, Steven (Melinda) Diaz, and Glenn "Dino" Diaz.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and best friend, Kathy Brewer.
