Randall M. Miller

Randall ‘Randy’ M. Miller, 72, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Randy was born January 24, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Christian and Selma (Jensen) Miller. He grew up in Homer, Nebraska and graduated from Homer High School in 1970. Randy attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he played basketball. He was the manager of Kriz Davis Electrical, following retirement he worked as the Assistant Supervisor of grounds at the Nebraska State Fair when it was in Lincoln.

Randy enjoyed playing keyboard in many local bands including the Jerry Pranksters and Peach Truck. He liked working in his yard along with crafting wishing wells and bird houses for family and friends. Randy was an avid collector of US Military History and superfan of the Boston Celtics.

Randy is survived by his siblings, Lynn Miller, Susan (Ray) Brown, and Cindy Miller; along with numerous cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his son, Shannon Miller, and parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Lincoln Family Funeral Care, 5849 Fremont Street.

Memorials may be directed to his family for a later designation.
