Richard Michael Kuntz

Richard Michael Kuntz, 72 of Lincoln, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 22, 2017 after a courageous battle with COPD. He was born in North Tonawanda, New York on October 21, 1944 to Michael and Lillian (Cowell) Kuntz. Richard was proud to be a U.S. Navy Veteran. He served on the USS Limpkin. After his military service, he was a volunteer firefighter and EMT at Sweeney Hose Fire Company, Director of Operations at Pillsbury for 25 years and security supervisor at Kawasaki. Richard married Mary Bremer on June 14, 2007. He was also a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Family members include: wife, Mary (Bremer) Kuntz; daughters, Lisa (Ward) Williams, Debbie (Ron) Dworzanski, Brenda Golaszewski, Angela (Donald) Terry and Julie Gill; grandchildren, Sam Williams, Ella Williams, Hallie Dworzanski, Justin Dworzanski, Alicia Bunch, Joshua (Leann) Bunch, Jesse Bunch, Ashley Bunch, Jordan O'Flaherty, Jaelynn O'Flaherty and Sara Gill; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Wozniak, Eileen Weigold, Sharon Waltz and Michelle Dzikoski; brother, Bruce Kuntz; aunt, Martha Kuntz; nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Preceded in death by parents; parents-in-law and brother, Ed Kuntz.
