Roger Duerr went to meet his Lord on May 3, 2021 at his home in Lincoln, NE as he wished. He was born October 29, 1938 to Fred and Lucile Duerr in Seward, NE. He graduated from Seward High School and Concordia Teachers College. He taught in New Jersey and Lincoln NE, worked with his mother in business before starting his own appliance business.\n\nHe was in sports in high school and college. He was a good golfer, was an avid hunter, liked to travel, and was an avid reader of everything as his interests were many.\n\nJune 29, 1963 he was married to Judith Boyd in Denver, CO. Three children were born, Randy, Jennifer, and Eric. He has three grandchildren, one great grandson, and three great step-children.\n\nHe is survived by his wife and children; sister, Sandra (Rudy) Nuttleman of Seward; special friend, Jan Lingren of Lincoln; caregivers, Orville Stuek Jr., and Diane Jones of Lincoln. Eighteen nieces and nephews.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Andrew (Anna Tavis) Duerr, and Leslie (Irene Flynn) Wright.\n\nCremation with no visitation. Interment will be held at the Seward Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
