Roger Steider Obituary (1939 - 2022)

Roger Steider, 82, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2022. He was born December 7, 1939, to Elmer and Dorothy (Larkin) Steider. Roger loved any sort of car racing, was an avid gardener, and sports enthusiast. After serving in the Army, Roger worked in the grocery industry with Safeway, Demma's IGA and retired from Super Saver in 2009. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Bev; stepdaughter, Tammy Wheeler (Jim); and stepson, Jeff Bool (Robyn). His grandchildren were the light of his life, Connor Bool (Morgan) and Carly Bool (Josh Makovicka); along with great-grandson, Brady; brother, Glenn Steider (Judy). Roger was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Vernon Dickey; and siblings, Genive Smetter, Joyce McClatchey, Verna Martin, Lee and Lyle Steider.
