Ronald Beam

Ronald Carl Beam, 69, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on September 4, 2026, in the city he proudly called home.
Ron was a devoted father, grandfather, family member, and friend. He spent many years working at Goodyear, where he formed many lifelong friendships before retiring.
Known for his easygoing personality, quick wit, and loyalty to those he loved, Ron enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He especially treasured spending time with his family, following Husker sports and the Raiders, gathering with friends to share stories and laughter. In his younger years, Ron was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bird hunting and casting a line whenever he had the chance.
Those who knew Ron will remember his warm heart, wonderful sense of humor, and the genuine connections he made with people throughout his life. Above all, his family was incredibly important to him, and his five grandchildren were a great source of pride and joy.
Ron is survived by his son, Ross Beam, and daughter-in-law, Kattryn Mathieu; daughter, Tanna Hanna, and son-in-law, Zac Hanna; and his five beloved grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Kathleen Beam; his parents, Helen and Carl Beam; and his brother, James “Jim” Beam.
Ron’s legacy will live on through his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his kindness, friendship, laughter, and the love he shared throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Bob’s Tavern in Havelock, Nebraska.
