Ronald Bruce Campbell, 71, of Lincoln, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones from his battle with cancer. He was born on August 15, 1949 in Spokane, Washington to Lawrence and Crystal (Burgess) Campbell. He later moved to Lincoln where he grew up.\n\nAfter high school he traveled around the country and returned to Lincoln in 1981 and met his wife Rita (Bartek) Campbell. To this union two children were born, Ronnie and Kim Campbell. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, shuffleboard, and playing cards with friends and family. In his later years he was a loving and doting grandfather to his 7 grandchildren.\n\nHe is survived by his wife, Rita; son, Ronnie (Amber); daughter, Kim (Jay); grandchildren, Nick, Brianna, Britney, Courtney, Faith, Alex and Evan; sisters, Cheryl (Steve) Kahler, Georgia (Greg) Finch; stepbrothers, Dan (Becky), Randy (Cindy) Smith, and many nieces and nephews.\n\nRon is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Campbell and Crystal (Campbell) Smith, stepfather, Donald Smith; stepsister, Linda (Smith) Blake.
