Scott Lee Anderson Obituary (1962 - 2016)

Scott Lee Anderson, 53, of Lincoln, born August 11, 1962, entered the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father on April 4, 2016. Scott was a dedicated employee at Nebraska Heart Institute and the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital as a medical lab technologist, and was a member of the security team at Christ's Place Church. He displayed contagious childlike enthusiasm in his love of family, camping, motorcycles, and armed recreation (aka blowing stuff up). Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, DeAnne; children, Cory Anderson and Briana and Nathan Bartek; parents, Ralph and Sharon (Brothers) Anderson; Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law Karen and Ben Pickett, Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law Gary and Leona Elsberry; sisters, Debra and Steve Gloates and Megan and Nate Blazek; sisters and brothers -in-law, Bob and Pati Elsberry, Chris and Jim Shook, Sherry and Bob Halada; numerous well-loved nieces and nephews, and additional extended family members. Scott was preceded in death by son Zachary Scott Anderson, grandparents Arthur and Cressa Anderson, grandparents Hilda and Floyd Brothers, aunt and uncle George and Kathryn Killham, uncle Westley Brothers, and cousins Gene Brothers and Georgia Childress.
