Shawn Michael Joseph Carver Obituary (1988 - 2017)

Shawn Michael Joseph Carver, age 28, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away July 26, 2017. He was born September 12, 1988, in Superior, Nebraska and is the youngest son of Cindy and Paul Carver. Shawn grew up in rural north central Kansas. He met his wife, Sarah, in 2008 and they later married in 2012. The couple made their home in Nebraska, and although they never had children, their beagles kept them on their toes. Shawn had a thirst for adventure and lived his life to the fullest. He was happiest when outside. Fishing, hunting, hiking, gardening and golfing were among his favorite activities. In the house you could find Shawn cooking a tasty dinner from the inspiration he gathered from watching cooking shows. He also had a passion for music, whether he was listening to it or playing the guitar. Shawn was always eager to help out a friend and had the ability to make anyone laugh and smile. Shawn is survived by his wife Sarah Carver; brother Carson Carver, mother Cindy Carver, and beloved fur babies Missy and Charlie; as well as many other cherished family and friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his father Paul Carver, his grandparents Donald and Mollie Switzer, Eunice Dutton, and Levi Carver. The family invites friends and family to continue to celebrate Shawn's life after the service with light refreshments being served at the church.
