Sheryl Best

Sheryl L. Best, born on November 25, 1962 in Lincoln, NE, was a dedicated and compassionate woman who lived her life to the fullest, making a significant impact on everyone she encountered. She was a licensed practical nurse (LPN) who devoted her career to serving others in the healthcare industry. Sheryl was the embodiment of empathy and kindness, well-loved by her patients and colleagues for her generosity and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Sheryl’s life was a testament to her love for family, adventure, and creativity. As a resident of Panama, Nebraska, she cherished spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, creating unforgettable memories playing board games, with Yahtzee being her favorite. Sheryl also had an artistic side that shone through her love for scrapbooking and crafting. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel frequently to Mexico and Colorado, exploring new cultures and experiences.

Sheryl is survived by her daughter, Miranda (Chris) Walker; grandchildren, Bentley, Colten, Paisley Jade; mother, Ramona Sieler; father, Darrell (Donna) Best; brother, Bob (Karen) Best; uncle, Dave Uhrich; aunt, Teresa Roof.

She was preceded in death by grandfather, Faye Best; grandmother, Carol Best; aunt, Linda Uhrich; uncle, Tommy Roof.

Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, July 1, 2024 at Gentle Shepherd Baptist Church, 1601 West Burnham Street.
