Tammy W. Derriso Stetson, 57, of Lincoln, passed away surrounded by her family at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, NE on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.\n\nTammy was born on March 14, 1962 in Swainsboro, GA to Margaret E. Meeks Derriso Gray and James E. Derriso. She married Ronald Stetson on January 5, 1980 in Bath, South Carolina while he was stationed at Ft. Gordon. They were stationed in Germany in 1980, where Tammy loved the culture, figurines, and castles. They had two boys, Brad and Andy. She enjoyed spending time with her boys, niece, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.\n\nShe worked with Ron at their business until 1997, when illness struck and she was unable to work away from home. She enjoyed arts and crafts, collecting figurines, loved her dogs, and watching TV. She and Ronald divorced in 2004.\n\nShe is survived by sons Bradley and Andrew (Jill) Stetson, grandchildren Zeke and Gemma Stetson, her parents, her sister Cyndi Weeks, her brothers Tony (Connie) Derriso, Dallas (Sandy) Derriso, and Dale (Becky) Derriso, niece Kelsey (John) Williss aunt Nellie Odom, cousin Roxanne Odom, and many more relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cleve and Sadie Derriso, uncle Tyrois Odom, and her cousin Gina Simmons.\n\nMemorial service will be held at St. Mark's Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68520, on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Patricia Stetson-Warning will be officiating. Memorial donations can be made to the Pieloc Branch, Capital Humane Society, Lincoln, NE, or to a non-profit of the donor's choice. A private family inurnment will be conducted at a later date in the Crawford, NE cemetery.
