Lincoln, Nebraska
Tracy Henman, the adventurous retail clerk with an unabashed love for all things that tick and twinkle, has logged off from life's great adventure on October 23, 2025. Born on September 8, 1982, in Orlando, Florida, Tracy was a true native Floridian before she traded the sunshine for cornfields and moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. She had a knack for finding humor in the everyday.
Tracy was a compassionate and empathetic soul who believed that love was not limited by blood ties. She was a mother to four: Jackson, Miranda, Conner, and Kenneth, and if you ask any of her customers at Hy-Vee Gas, they'd probably say she mothered them too, along with many of her childrens friends along with her friends children. Her family was her world, and she was their North Star. Her love for her work was palpable, and she often joked that if she had any more fun at her job, it would be illegal. To her, every day was an opportunity to add more love and laughter to the world.
Even in her free time, Tracy was always on the move. She had a fondness for tinkering with watches, jewelry, and any peculiar items she could get her hands on. Tracy's adventurous spirit, coupled with her loving and empathetic nature, made her a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved children, Jackson, Miranda, Conner, Kenneth; mother, Vivian; father, Garry; sister, Stacy; niece, Nina; ex-husband, Casey.
Tracy was fond of saying, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." So, let's honor her wish. We invite you to share your fond memories, laughter-filled moments, and upload photos that celebrate Tracy's vibrant life on her memorial page. Let's remember her not with tears, but with laughter and love, just as she would have wanted.
