Raised in Hastings, Nebraska, Scot graduated from Adams Central High School in 1987. He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, majoring in applied science, and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1991. Scot has been a licensed funeral director for over twenty years. He co-founded DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Services in 2004. Scot is committed to offering superior and affordable funeral care to all families and believes in giving back to the community.



He is a member of First Plymouth Church, LIBA, ELBA, and the Chamber of Commerce.
